PROGRAMMER PICK
WTO/99
Rodeo Cinema Stockyards, 8:30pm
2221 Exchange Ave.
This immersive archival documentary was produced by dCFF alums
Alex Megaro and Laura Tatham. Features Programmer Camila Chaves Rojas says, “We are always thrilled to welcome back alumni to deadCenter. This documentary is incredibly powerful and strikingly timely, drawing clear parallels between 1999's struggles with environmentalism, corporate greed, workers' rights, and police brutality and the challenges we face today. The impressive editing of the archival footage truly shines and highlights the inspiring efforts of the protestors."
