deadCenter Film Internships – 2025-2026
deadCenter Film is seeking up to eight interns for the 2025-26 season. Internships are available for the full academic year or for a single semester—either Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. The Spring term is slightly longer to allow interns to support the deadCenter Film Festival on June 10-14, 2026.
Interns at deadCenter Film gain valuable insider experience about the film industry, with a focus on distribution and exhibition. They’ll have the opportunity to see how a festival engages with community partners through year-round programming, as well as the planning, production, and execution of a major film festival. Interns also help with the education of future generations of filmmakers about how to get started right here at home, using the tools and resources already available to them. While all interns will gain insight into every aspect of what we do, the areas where you're most motivated are where you'll gain the deepest knowledge and experience.
Please note: Spring applicants should plan to stay through the festival.
