We’re now located on the northwest corner of Second Street and Oklahoma Avenue, in the 💙 of Deep Deuce in downtown OKC: 1 NE 2nd Street Suite 211 Oklahoma City, OK 73104 25th Anniversary: Our Biggest Year Yet! We were thrilled to kick off our 25th anniversary at the home of Board Member Melissa Scaramucci – the first of many events leading up to the 25th Anniversary Edition of the deadCenter Film Festival. Guests were given a sneak peek of new deadCenter Film Hype Reel, and the Silver Screen Committee revealed spring plans for “5 Events in ‘25.” Thank you to our hardworking board, staff, and committee members for making last week’s kick-off event a major success! Welcome, New Board Members! ROGELIO ALMEIDA is a U.S. Army veteran, award-winning Oklahoma filmmaker, and the Director of the OKCine Latino Film Festival and Youth Institute. He has worked for several local media outlets including Univision Oklahoma, Telemundo Oklahoma, and Tango Public Relations, serving in multiple positions such as script writing, TV production, voice-over work, directing, producing, and editing. He now serves at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Coordinator for Multimedia Services, where he oversees campus-wide events, conferences, live-streaming, and video editing. Welcome, Rogelio! KINDT MYERS is third-generation Oklahoman born and raised in Oklahoma City. An event producer and hospitality executive by trade, Kindt’s built an impressive portfolio, applying his creativity to some of your favorite deadCenter Film events. Kindt’s love of all things local led him to serve as Director of Catering for A Good Egg Dining Group, Vice President and Partner at Humankind Hospitality, and most recently Vice President of People at The Social Order Dining Collective. Kindt, we’re so glad you’re here! J. DALE THURMAN is the Chief Operating Officer of Vista Investment Partners, a financial advisement firm based in Oklahoma City, where he builds vision and strategy from the ground up, in addition to coaching, motivating, and developing operational teams for success. Previous adventures include Oklahoma’s Credit Union (Digital Product Director) and Chesapeake Energy (Product Manager - Digital Transformation), in addition to a successful career as an investment analyst for Raymond James, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of Oklahoma.
