View this email in your browser deadCenter University Applications are OPEN! Get ready for the return of an even bigger, better, FREE deadCenter University. For the first time ever, we’re offering TWO TRACKS! The first is an expanded deadCenter University Youth Camp at Oklahoma City Community College, held June 3-6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At Youth Camp, students will learn hands-on filmmaking from instructors at OCCC’s Top 25 film school. The short film they create during this once-in-a-lifetime experience will premiere during festival weekend! We’re also offering our first-ever track for educators, June 6-7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Oklahoma City University. In this training led by OCU Film Chair Bryan Cardinale-Powell, architect of Oklahoma’s academic standards for media arts, educators from across the state will receive the tools and resources needed to teach film in their classrooms.  Space is very limited for this exclusive FREE opportunity, with slots available for 20 students and 25 teachers.
