We had the honor of programming the Latino Community Development Agency (LCDA) Latino Clubs Media Week in late July, and it was an incredible experience!

Students from first through sixth grade dove into the world of media with a fantastic lineup of guest speakers and mentors. These professionals brought their expertise from diverse fields like broadcast journalism, acting, documentary filmmaking, and film production.

Throughout the week, the young participants explored a variety of activities that sparked their creativity and curiosity. They got hands-on with claymation, delved into the main stages of film production, engaged in acting exercises, and colored in storyboards. Each activity was designed to give them a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process.

Their journey culminated in creating a short film of their own!
